This document contains steps and instructions for account activation, password forgetting, password reset, and error message.

1.Account Activation

Step 1: Please click the icon “Activate NID”

Step 2: After reading the notes, please click “next”

Step 3: Please enter your NID account and fill in the verification code (consisting of letters and numbers) according to the picture on the right. Then click “Next”

Step 4: Please enter the last 5 numbers of your ID card and the year, month, and day of the date of your birth. Then click “Next”

Step 5: Enter your backup email address, NID password, and reconfirm your password. Then click “Submit”

Step 6: Account Activation Successful

2. Forget Password

Step 1: Please click the icon “Forget PWD”

Step 2: Please enter your NID account and fill in the verification code (consisting of letters and numbers) according to the picture on the right. Then click “Next”

Step 3: Please enter the last 5 numbers of your ID card, the year, month, and day of the date of your birth, and your backup email address. Then click “Submit”

Step 4: Please enter your NID account, new password and verification code. Then click “Next”

Step 5: Please enter the NID password and reconfirm the password. Then click “Submit”.

Step 6: Password reset successful

3. Reset Password

Step 1: Please click the icon “Reset PWD”

Step 2: Please enter your NID account, old password, and verification code. Then click “Next”

Step 3: Please enter the NID password and reconfirm the password. Then click “Submit”.

Step 4: Password reset successful
